Being of Service Through Education: Improving Health Through Knowledge -- Sebahu is reaching out to everyone to make a better choice when it comes to their health. The truth is often hard to discern and not alway obvious, especially when we been taught to trust the person wearing the white coat, despite what they may truly know. The U.S. is over marketed and full of short sound bites, which are most often misleading. I hope you enjoy what we have to offer.

DMOZ Sucks

I have had it with DMOZ! The editors at DMOZ don't seem to be doing their job and seem very elitist. I submitted my site to be included more than five months ago and it still has not been included and no one bothers responding to my 2 emails. All I've asked, why has my site never been included?

What I know: DMOZ is suppose to be an open directory run by volunteer editors who are suppose to have an open unbiased mind, but that hasn't been true for years it seems. DMOZ is a non-profit owned by Netscape which is owned by AOL. Enough said. AOL has one of the worst reputations for customer service or customer care, which if things trickle down, makes DMOZ the the bottom of the muck / stench pile.

Doing a search on the Internet I find that DMOZ has probably not added any significant amount of sites to its directory in years and some posts have really bad things to say about DMOZ. My experience has been horrible and here is what I propose: run all the editors over very slowly with a steamroller, so they suffer before we turn them into something truly useful, Biodiesel. Make the site originally designed for the people a people's site and take it out of corporate hands, from Netscape and AOL. Keep it as a non-profit. Convert DMOZ to a wiki styled site, where anyone can add their site so long it is not one that might be on a forbidden subject list.

Until DMOZ is either converted to rubble or put in the hands of the people, do what you can to ignore it, never ever do not use it, and downwardly rank it. Fight the evil it has become. I hate DMOZ because they suck. The editors at DMOZ suck. Viva revolution.

Diabetes Cure eBook

I am in the process of compiling my eBook based on an article that there is a cure for Diabetes. Yes, a cure! The cure makes use of food, herbs and exercise (duh) to re-balance the person's body so they will be free of Diabetes, forever. My goal is to have the information compiled, edited and ready for publishing next month. It will have information gathered from many sources, including the article earlier this year, herbs that may be of help, foods, and just how much exercise. What is the success rate, recipes and much more will be included. So, stay tuned.

What else is new? I am happy to report that Sebahu.com's rank has now improved by 1,200% in four month's time. See, you don't need to pay anyone to submit your site to lots of search engines or charge you what seems like a small fortune to improve with SEO [search engine optimization]. Doing the work myself has taught me quite a bit and that if I stick with it I can do just as well or better than anyone out there making promises. If anyone is interested in how to do this themselves, I ask that you help me out, as I am currently living in poverty, by making a donation of $20 or better and I will email you the steps I took. That is far less than what anyone else is asking for.

Other than that, Sebahu.com has not been updated in May as I am working on several projects: the eBook (my first), All-One-Color - my newest project, Sebahu.com adjunct site, and Sebahu eBooks - for those who would like their books in electronic form. Some think I am spreading myself thin, but I have to follow my passion and do whatever it takes and as a result, the main site, Sebahu.com, has not been updated in the month of May. If people feel my efforts were worth supporting, I could eventually hire someone, even part-time, to help me, but until the support is there, I do the work myself.

Be well and remember, only through educating yourself will you truly find health because as long as medicine is profit driven it's closer at the bottom line than you or your health.

Carbon Off-Setting: Good / Bad?

Carbon off-setting has become big business. Just look at the number of new websites. Breeding as fast as people, almost, at least they haven't over populated the net yet like people have the planet. It makes me question though, are they for real?

How many of them are scams?
How many are really off-setting your carbon or pocketing some easy money?
How are they off-setting? With trees? How fast are they planted and who is making sure they survive and should some of them die, will they be replaced?
If wind energy (no one seems to be pushing Photovoltaic or other green energy) is bought, is there enough out there to buy and if all of it is bought up, then what?
Who the hell is oversee all this? Who is making sure all these calculators and off-setting is for real, trustworthy or is everyone calculating a different amount of carbon?

I am not trying to rain on everyone's parade, but the U.S. is the land of scams, hucksters and thieves. You just have to check the news and almost every month, somewhere in the U.S. someone was caught taking advantage of someone or lots of someone's.

Check out the organization before giving any money. Ask lots of questions. I really mean this and ask intelligent questions. If your unable to determine if the organization is legit, keep searching. Remember to plant your own trees, buy Compact Florescent bulbs, drive less and walk more often (it'll be better for your health and prevent disease), and buy things, especially food, that is grown or produced locally - you wont believe how many thousands of miles some things are shipped.

I do have to say, there are a number of trustworthy groups out there to help you off-set the carbon you produce each year. It is a good idea, overall. Just remember, it is better to first reduce your carbon footprint, the amount you produce each year, and then off-set the rest.

Do your part, but don't give your money to a huckster and if you do, it's your own fault.

Additional Support for Sebahu.com

Sebahu.com now has additional support at http://sebahu.googlepages.com/. The additional pages give everyone a chance to buy the books that have provided myself with some of the knowledge I share on Sebahu.com. Sebahu on Google Pages gives everyone access to self educate and support they need to take charge of their own health.

Here's wishing everyone good health,
Richard.

What can you expect?

Not much, as long as we live under a medical system that is driven by profit rather than caring for people. The Chinese actually had a great system, you paid a doctor to prevent disease and the moment you became ill, you no longer paid him. Now, that is a system we should adopt and not pay ego-centric white knights (yeah right, some knight they are) to come to our rescue in hopes of curing us. Ya know, someone trained in pulse diagnosis can find out what is going on with you faster than an MD with all their fancy expensive equipment. Too bad the public is too stupid and just goes along with what is marketed them, rather than what is right for them. Well good thing you have me around to help you figure out what is what and you have access to Sebahu.com. So make use of it, will ya already?

Update -- Update -- Update

Some new things on Sebahu.com:
  • List of Essential Oils, under Learn New Things
  • In the process of adding an RSS fee
  • New recipes to up posted
  • New articles to uploaded shortly
  • Dickies List has lots of new information as well, check it out!

Staying very busy as you can see. Lots of updates and additions. Sebahu.com rank had greatly improved since the begining of the year, when we were in the big sea of website, could hardly find us in a search, but now, we can actually be found. The more content that is added, the better our ranking is getting. We would just like to ask you a favor, could you support our effort by going to the "Support Us" link? Please. This project is big. It's taking a lot of time and it would be nice if people said thank you by making a donation to show your appreciation.

Richard.

Supporting Growing Pains

As I work hard to post more information, I also have to remember to pay for the site and all the time I am putting into it. To that end I created Dickies List. Dickies is a list of advertisers and affiliates that will in part pay for all my efforts and keep Sebahu.com Free! Yeah, we all like things that are free, don't we, but at the same time we also know that anything for free has to be paid for somehow. This is where your support comes in by visiting and buying something from any of the advertisers on Dickies List or giving a donation.

Besides Dickies List I ask everyone if they would give a few dollars, as a way to show they appreciate what is being offered. Some people seem to think that I expect some large donation in order to keep the site going when actually the opposite is true. It doesn't matter what anyone gives, from a few dollars on up. Giving $20 a year in exchange for over 400 pages of information is no more expensive than a book of the same size. Also, think of it this way, if one person gives, that isn't much, but put together with everyone else's gift it adds up to a larger amount that will help to keep Sebahu.com Free! Consider making a donation.

Why help Sebahu.com? First, it will provide a lot of information regarding Holistic Health and how to make an educated choice when it comes to your health and the health of loved ones. Second, the big view is to use whatever money not needed by Sebahu.com to invest in Holistic Clinics I would like to see grow into a kind of hospital system across the country.

This system of health care has only become more popular and as it has the status quo is fighting to keep its profit margins. This does not serve the public, and so I would like it very much if people would support an effort to bring affordable health care to everyone using proven Holistic methods. That is why I ask you to support Sebahu.com.

What have I been doing

Ok, Ok, so it has been a while since I posted something, but I've been very busy. Here's why and what's new at Sebahu.com:
  • Have now uploaded almost 400 files
  • Put all the articles in order by what month they were posted and added more, catching up takes a lot of time
  • I uploaded and linked in a copy of a site: Cancer Tutor, with permission
  • Dickies List is now uploaded and has its first affiliates on the front page, this is the place where advertisers and affiliates will hang out
  • Recipes have also been updated, but still working on this month's and while I'm at it, next month too
Doesn't seem like much, but I nearly doubled the number of files I now have posted on Sebahu.com. Also, I created a separate design for Dickies List, catchy name huh, which as soon as I can, will become its own separate site.

Besides working on Sebahu.com and Dickies List, I've been notifying people of the site and encouraging people to pay a visit and support the site by making use of the affiliates or purchasing something or by giving money directly. Also, I've been looking hard for part-time job to help pay the bills. Not been too successful with that, at least not yet. I would love a job for around 25 – 32 hours a week that pays at least $10 an hour, more per hour would be happily accepted as well.

Last week I worked with a guy who kinda owns his own business selling books around town at various office buildings. Lots of travel, hard work moving things around and managing the inventory which gives a good workout, but I am not looking to own his business. I would love to find at least one more person, up to a handful of people would be better, and start a way to truly help people living in poverty, in Colorado. Anyone out there interested in helping me make a deep dent in poverty? And, not just my own, by creating a stable local economy by building small businesses.

My goal, you'll like this: show people that the system, status quo, we currently live under is broken and the only way to help people is by melding, blending but not so much that the status quo eliminates the hope of using Traditional Healing Methods. Also, bring sustainability to the forefront in all ways: farming, energy; economy; business, while waking people from their status quo lives and.... Well, that's enough. Yeah, a bit of a dreamer who is firmly rooted in the reality of making a difference, cut off from the status quo. Join me.
